Disneyland’s Lunar New Year Marketplace is here through Feb 16th! Swipe to see everything I’ve tried so far, along with my personal opinions 😁🍴😋:

1. The Sip & Savor pass, you get 6 food dishes included. $45 for Magic Key Holders, or $48.

2. Quesabirria Egg Roll - I give this an 8/10, very meaty with delicious consomé, but I felt it could use more cheese!

3. Pho Dip - This is 8.5/10 for me, could have been more flavorful but I still very much enjoyed it.

4. Dragon Fruit Cocktail - 6/10… this was tangy in a way I did not enjoy. I usually love dragonfruit.

5. Garlic Noodles! - 8/10… simple but delicious and comforting. Eat them right away though or the butter separates.

6. Fire Chicken Wings - 9.5/10, these are spicy in the best way possible. Very flavorful, well done Disney 👍🏽

7. Year of the Snake Margarita - 7/10…this is probably the best cocktail of the festival, but it’s still average at best.

8. Kubg Pao Bao - 7/10…a nice plant based option, but wish it had more of a kick. Kinda boring.

9. Mini Char Siu Pork Shanks - 9/10, very flavorful and tender pork with rice. A solid option. Loved the pineapple chutney.

10. Peach Makgeolli Cocktail - 6/10… I tasted the grape flavors more than the peach. It was mostly a strange combination of flavors for me and barely any alcohol.

11. Shrimp Lo Mein Noodles - 9/10, I feel like this is better than in previous years. Decent quality shrimp, fresh noodles 👍🏽

12. Taro Vietnamese-style Iced Coffee - 7.5/10…this would have gotten a much higher score from me if the coffee weren’t so chocolatey! I wanted more coffee flavor. The Taro marshmallow topping was great.

13. Me and Ms. Clarabelle hangin’ out trying to make more room for fooooood. ☺️

I don’t really have any New Year’s resolutions because I have been trying to improve myself in many ways every single day for the last few years. Sometimes I’m successful, often times not… but I keep truckin’! I’m glad 2024 is over and I can have the illusion of a fresh start. Visiting the Balloon Museum yesterday and becoming a part of the art made me feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be right now. It was a great was to start the year.

Here’s everything I ate (and remembered to take a photo of 😂) the first weekend of Disney’s Festival of Holidays. I’ll be back next weekend for more and will continue to provide my strong opinions 😁🏰🥘🧆🥓🍿🍤🧁…

1. Seeing the Festival sign = Vacation Mode activated 😎
2. I LOVE this Kugal Mac and Cheese, so flavorful and creamy.
3. Made a stop at GCH Craftsman grill and the bartender filled me in on the secret holiday menu. No idea what this drink is called but it has raspberry puree and rum and it’s delicious!!
4. I had high hopes for this Al Pastor Pork & Pineapple slider, but it lacked flavor and the texture of the pork just wasn’t great.
5. The Berry Pomegranate Paloma is sweet but balanced and actually tastes like it has alcohol in it!
6. The Pork Belly Adobo was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The garlic rice was perfect.
7. I got the prime rib holiday special at Lamplight Lounge. It wasn’t worth it to me. They forgot to give me the wasabi cream and au jus. Plus they had two options for the meat: medium rare and well done. I feel like this came out too rare for me 🤷🏽‍♀️
